Manager & Lead Art Psychotherapist
Hi. I’ve been involved in SOLA ARTS since co-founding the charity in 2004. I do a bit of everything really including overseeing and delivering arts and Art Therapy programmes, skilling up and volunteering. But as normal in a small charity we don’t have departments we simply have us and our skills and commitment, so whether it be marketing, budgeting, fundraising, programme planning or networking I’m involved.
Social Worker & Development Worker / ATIC Coordinator
I’ve been involved in SOLA ARTS since it was set up on 2004.
My current role has several hats. I run the Transitions programme, develop capacity including supporting fundraising applications and finding external opportunities for participants for example. I also coordinate the Art Therapy programmes. I work part-time and can often have flexible hours and when needed lend a volunteering hand on projects.
FESTIVAL 31 Curator/Coordinator
I’ve been working with SOLA ARTS since 2006, initially as Volunteer Co-ordinator, and later as community music leader and supporting a range of project delivery. Since 2015 I’ve acted as FESTIVAL31 Co-ordinator. I’m responsible for developing the festival programme and spreading the word about the festival across Merseyside communities. Every year we consolidate our relationships with established partners, and work to extend the impact of the festival by engaging new contributors, new partners and new beneficiaries.
I’ve been supporting Supervision at SOLA ARTS since 2014.
As a Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist and supervisor I work freelance within the team to enable the Art Psychotherapist to reflect and best support clients.
I’ve worked with SOLA for numerous years in a variety of capacities but mainly in a supportive external partnership role. However I’ve more recently become part of the core staffing team, supporting fundraising and evaluating project delivery.
I’ve been involved in the project since 2015. I began as a volunteer and eventually became employed as a Trainee Creative Mentor. More recently I have again lent my hand to volunteering bringing my Creative Writing background and expertise into the therapist Supported Art Group, which runs weekly. I am now back to being employed as a Creative Learning Mentor in that group.
I started working with SOLA in 2017. I work on the Digital Skills training as a Learning Mentor. I’m supporting people in the group to learn digital and creative skills. I’m also organising some trips to look at different ways artists and creative people work together from shared studio spaces to co-operatives.
